At Riverside Bridge School, we believe that strong partnerships with families are essential to pupil success.
Our Parent and Community Group brings together parents, carers and school leaders to strengthen relationships, share ideas and contribute to the life of the school. The group provides opportunities for families to become more involved in the school community while helping to shape and support wider school developments.
The group meets regularly with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that parents and carers have opportunities to share views, ask questions and contribute to discussions about school life.
Working together
The Parent and Community Group supports the school in a variety of ways, including:
- contributing to school events and celebrations
- supporting fundraising activities
- sharing ideas and feedback from families
- helping to strengthen communication between home and school
- supporting projects that enhance pupils' experiences
Funds raised through group activities help provide additional opportunities, resources and experiences that enrich school life and support pupils' personal development.
Building a strong community
One of the group's key aims is to strengthen the sense of community across Riverside Bridge School.
Through events, activities and shared experiences, families have opportunities to connect with one another, celebrate achievements and become more involved in school life. These opportunities help foster positive relationships and create a welcoming and inclusive school community.
Parent voice
Listening to families is an important part of school improvement.
The Parent and Community Group provides a forum through which parents and carers can share ideas, raise questions and contribute to discussions about the school's development. This helps ensure that family perspectives continue to inform decision-making and future planning.
